SimplyLive Production Suite Flex — Tips & Tricks

This is how intuitive a touchscreen interface can be. You see something. You want to interact with it. You touch it.
Creating a clip from Program or Program 2 is extremely simple. Hold your finger on the Program window, swipe left or right to find the exact moment, press In, move forward to the out point, press Out, and then press Save.
Voilà. Clip done.
And you can use the same logic across all your outputs.
Of course, you can still use a replay controller, Shuttle Express, keyboard shortcuts or Stream Deck. You have plenty of options because SimplyLive Production Suite Flex adapts to you. You don’t have to adapt to it.
Personally, what surprised me most is that I still work mainly like an old-school OB replay operator, using the replay controller. But after just a few days with SimplyLive, I caught myself touching the screen from time to time.
Not because I had to. Because it was easier.
I was actually convinced that touchscreen operation wouldn’t be for me. Apparently, I was wrong.
Today, what I enjoy most is a hybrid workflow: mainly the replay controller, with a little help from the touchscreen whenever it simply makes sense.
Even my three-year-old daughter understands touchscreen logic in her own way: touch, see, check.
That is how intuitive it is.
