Replay Coord, Real Time Coordination for EVS Operators
Replay Coord allows the vision mixer assistant to manage and distribute the replay rundown directly from a MacBook.
During this production, I was coordinating four EVS operators. Each operator received an iPad connected to Replay Coord over Wi Fi. Whenever I changed the replay hierarchy or calling order on my MacBook, the update appeared instantly on every iPad.
For example, the replay order could be EVS 1, EVS 3, EVS 4, and then EVS 2. Every operator could immediately see the same hierarchy, confirm their position in the rundown, and prepare the correct replay without relying only on verbal communication.
Replay Coord can operate wirelessly over Wi Fi, or it can be patched directly into the EVS server environment, depending on the production setup.
The result is a clear, synchronized replay workflow with faster confirmation, easier corrections, and much less room for mistakes.
