EVS Tips & Tricks: Setup menu navigation made easier

Small shortcut. Big difference. When you are inside the EVS Setup menu, you can move through the configuration pages using F9 and F10 — Page Up and Page Down. That works.

But there is an easier way. Press ENTER.
Once ENTER is active, you can use the jog wheel to move through the setup pages much faster and much more naturally.
No constant F9. No constant F10. No clicking through page by page like it is 1998. Just ENTER. Then jog.
This is especially useful because the EVS setup has a lot of pages — often more than 11 — and when you are trying to find one specific configuration option, speed matters.

It is not a glamorous shortcut. It will not make a big marketing video. But in the OB VAN, in the replay room, during setup, during pressure, during engineering checks — this kind of small knowledge saves time. And replay is built on small knowledge. Small buttons.
Big consequences.
Pro Tip:
When you are teaching EVS, do not only teach the big functions. Teach the small navigation habits too. They are the difference between someone who knows the menu and someone who feels at home on the machine.

As easy as this.
