EVS Tips and Tricks: PostRoll

Sometimes you play a clip and it keeps running past the OUT point.

Before you shout for the engineer, check one simple thing on your EVS LSM controller: PostRoll.

Go to MENU, then press SHIFT + D. When you press SHIFT, you activate the second layer of the A, B, C, D buttons. In this menu, D is assigned to PostRoll, so SHIFT + D toggles PostRoll.

If PostRoll is active, pressing SHIFT + D will deactivate it. And suddenly, your clip stops behaving like it has its own plans for the evening.

Pro Tip

Always check the simple operator settings first.

It is much better to fix it yourself in two seconds than to call the engineer for something your own fingers can solve.
